We are looking for a Senior JavaScript Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include implementing visual elements and their behaviors with user interactions. You will work with both front-end and back-end web developers (in-house and partner resources) to build all client-side logic. You will also be bridging the gap between the visual elements and the server-side infrastructure, taking an active role on both sides, and defining how the application looks and functions.


  • Maintain existing and develop new UI features
  • Use JavaScript frameworks and common libraries to build reusable code and extension libraries for future use
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Follow secure development practices
  • Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end services
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

Skills and Qualifications

•      8+ years of Java development experience

  • Degree with a concentration in computer science technology or a related area
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript, its quirks, and workarounds for both desktop and mobile browsers.
  • Strong understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
  • Strong understanding of frameworks and libraries particularly JQuery and LoDash
  • Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance
  • Good understanding of Front-End development on Adobe Experience Manager platform
  • Good understanding of secure development practices
  • Basic understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
  • Familiarity with JavaScript module loaders, such as Require.js and System.js
Familiarity with back-end JavaScript development using Node.js
