The role of the Sales Support is to assist with the sales activities related to the organization, client, and customer needs. This role will be responsible for managing customer cases and scheduling appointments for an in home consultation. This position will involve work activities including, but not limited to: account management, coordinating appointments, assisting in customer needs, and establishing a lasting relationship with the customer. The goal of this position is to help the sales team close the sale and/or retain the customer. This role will be trained to handle inbound and outbound customer calls.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Create and manage sales and customer service tools for client teams as requested (e.g. new product launches, new distribution of existing products, sales
presentations, monthly updates, newsletters)
Keep current of industry trends and competitive products
Create new item mailings to include literature, package flats and product samples.
Create and/or follow pre-established presentations for business reviews, account visits and proposal guidelines
Oversee compilation and reporting of Sales Business units and client team metrics including scorecards
Coordinate all aspects of client visits to include travel and stay arrangements, coordination of meeting materials, conference room set up/tear down, and meals
Daily distribution of incoming mail and shipments; preparation and coordination of outgoing mail and shipments as appropriate
Meet and exceed established sales and/or customer service criteria.
Demonstrate the ability to represent client's brand in a positive manner and provide outstanding customer experiences
Technical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to learn, understand, and use complex technology and tools to reduce/eliminate error
Maintain a balance of customer satisfaction while retaining revenue for the client by ensuring accuracy and having attention to detail
Back up and support other team members.
Create and maintain account contact files in Salesforce.
Serve as company ambassador delivering quality product information and assistance
Establish and develop relationships with clients and co-workers
Demonstrate excellent communication and computer skills
Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions
Assist with the preparation of periodic sales reports showing sales volume and potential sales
Regular attendance, punctuality and adherence to agreed-upon schedule of availability are conditions of employment and essential function of this position.

Travel as required. In order to meet the travel requirements, must have a personal credit card and an available credit limit for expenses which are reimbursed
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent (GED, HSED) required. Bachelor's degree is preferred.
One to two years of stable sales or related work experience is required. Industry experience or any other service related industry experience is highly desired.
Proven ability to quickly learn complex program and product knowledge, experience working on a PC, accessing and navigating multiple software applications in a
Windows environment while talking to the customer on the phone via a headset at the same time is required. Beginner to Intermediate knowledge and use of Microsoft Suite, primarily in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required. SalesForce or other related CRM experience is a plus. Keying data entry efficiently and accurately with proficiency in typing/keyboard is required. Polished phone demeanor, tone and etiquette is required.
This position requires a working knowledge of computer technology that includes, but
is not limited to: Beginner to Intermediate Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and
Microsoft Outlook. SalesForce or other related CRM experience is a plus. Must
be able to effectively and efficiently utilize multiple Internet search
windows. Individuals must possess the ability to learn and understand new
software and other technology applications as introduced by the Client and Alta
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to
write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization
exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for up to eight hours, and stand. Manual dexterity which allows the individual to use hands to type on a keyboard, use a mouse and write are required, as is the ability to talk, and
