Recreation Media Assistant
Essential Duties and
Under supervision of the Member Services Coordinator, the Titan Recreation Media
Assistant assists in the daily marketing operations of the Student Recreation Center.
Must adhere to and assist in the enforcement of the policies and procedures of the
University, the Associated Students, CSUF, Inc., the Student Recreation Center,
and the ASI Policy Concerning Social Media.
Assist the Member Services Coordinator by creating and posting content on Titan
Recreation’s social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
Assist the Member Services Coordinator in creating a monthly newsletter for the Titan
Assist the Member Services Coordinator by attending Titan Recreation programs and
events for social media coverage.
Assist the Member Services Coordinator by reporting weekly and monthly analytics.
Assist in creating, strategizing, and scheduling content for social media posts.
Any additional duties or projects as assigned.
Experience Requirements and Abilities:
Must be a currently enrolled California State University, Fullerton student.
Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
Experience or knowledge in Marketing.
Experience in photography.
Experience in maintaining and creating social media content.
Knowledge and Abilities:
Work effectively with Titan Recreation professional staff.
Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds and interests.
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive
attitude and providing exemplary customer services.
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments.
Model, promote, and consistently enforce ASI and Titan Recreation policies.
Demonstrates good verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
Must be able to keep an accurate record of hours worked by clocking in and out
Must be able to be on time, prepared to work and adhere to department dress code.
Must be able to properly lift up to 25 lbs.
Frequently required to sit, talk, listen and walk; manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination; corrected hearing and vision to normal range; clear verbal communication.
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with
the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
Must obtain First Aid/CPR/AED Certification within one month of employment.
Mandated Reporter Designation: Limited
Upon hire employment history and criminal background investigation will be completed.
Work week will adjust. Nights and weekends may be required.
