STS Systems Support, LLC. is seeking an Audio-Visual/Digital Media Production Specialist
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communication (Electronic Media/Media Production), Digital Filmmaking and Video Production, Electronic Media, Mass Communication, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ applied experience in multimedia technology.
- Proficient with set lighting, audio configuration, post production techniques and technologies, and eLearning technologies.
- Working knowledge of Tricaster and Multi-Camera Production Systems.
- Proficient with standard computer systems and applicable software to include but not limited to: Microsoft Office Professional Office Suite Software applications, MS Publisher, and any Adobe Creativity & Design, Marketing & Analytics and/or PDF software.
- Proficient with video, audio and photo editing software to include but not limited to: Adobe Premiere Pro, Apple Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Audition, and Avid Media Composer.
- Experience with multimedia marketing techniques, tools and procedures in various domains (web, video, email).
- Must be able to pass a government background and financial credit check
- Must be a US citizen
Position Description:
- Operate interactive television (satellite) systems and produce, direct, and film asynchronous and synchronous education and training course material.
- Prepare sets in a studio and on-location, configure lighting, and operate video, audio and camera equipment in various locations in support of curriculum development.
- Provide technical support including operating studio equipment, keeping studio equipment (to include cameras, microphones, computers, projectors, laptops, and other Distance Learning (DL) related hardware and software) operational, and reconfiguring existing equipment to adapt to evolving needs, and evaluating and procuring new technologies to enhance the school’s DL and eLearning capabilities.
- Focal point for developing and deploying marketing materials and visual aids to promote and advertise training materials and other educational products.
- Work with OE leadership to develop, implement, maintain, and update a strategic marketing plan to promote product lines.
- Work with OE faculty and staff to solicit information for news articles and outreach opportunities. As well as author or co-author news articles and multimedia events to promote the OE product lines.
- Develop and maintain an OE web presence via the ESOH Service center website and other approved media platforms, and comply with approved Air Force guidance and policy.
- Produce, shoot, edit, format, and provide all post production work for video and photo curriculum content and will edit and produce video, audio, and photographic products in support of mission requirements.
- Film in various settings that may include traditional classroom settings and distance learning, and may be required to travel to different sites to record or develop curriculum.
