Operations Site Lead

We are looking for a trustworthy, take-charge individual to join our growing business as a site supervisor. The role of a site supervisor has a broad range of responsibilities, from managing staff and overseeing projects to maintaining safety protocols and implementing site procedures. Our ideal candidate is experienced, responsible, and team-focused. The site supervisor will oversee Inside/Outside Plant operations for a multi-year Communications Infrastructure Support contract at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. The Government will provide the Contractor with a Communications-Computer Systems Project (CCSP) package with the intention that the site supervisor will provide none, some, or all of the items (supplies/material and equipment) identified on the List of Materials.

Site Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee day to day operations of all projects and employees
• Provide for site safety and security; devise and implement site policies and procedures
• Handle emergencies appropriately according to established procedures; prepare and file accident reports
• Supervise and evaluate staff; complete employee reviews; keep accurate records of employee attendance and timesheets; provide positive direction to motivate quality performance; discipline personnel when necessary and appropriate
• Help with interviewing candidates, onboard and train new hires
• Set project goals and oversee projects to completion, schedule, and track assignments
• Communicate with customers regarding products and services
• Ordering of materials and managing a schedule to support the installation, certification, and accreditation of equipment and transition of government property to staff.
• The candidate will be required to verify and validate the project’s physical parameters (e.g., quantities, cable lengths, manhole/duct availability, etc.) identified in the CCSP package.

Site Supervisor Requirements and Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid Certification
• Proficiency with multiple computer operating systems and software applications
• Reading comprehension of technical documents
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Exemplary analytic problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Proven leadership skills with a diverse workforce
• Ability to nurture effective professional relationships with staff and clients
