PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS
Organizes food orders for F & B Front of House staff with Kitchen Cook lines.
Responsible to ensure orderly and timely coordination of food orders.
Ensures all orders are complete and according to menu specification and/or special ordering instructions.
Works with Food Servers and Line Cooks to resolve issues.
Follows proper food handling and sanitation guidelines in compliance with Health department standards.
Establishes and enforces safe working procedures for department in compliance with OSHA guidelines.
Performs all other work-related duties as assigned by the Kitchen Supervisor.
Work Experience Required: Minimum 3 years prior kitchen experience preferably in a Hotel/Casino operation.
Education: High School Diploma and/or equivalent combination of work experience and education.
Other Requirements: Must be able to speak, read, and understand English. Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of Safety and Sanitation guidelines as set forth by OSHA. Must demonstrate positive/enthusiastic approach to all assignments. Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the position. Must be clean, well-groomed, and have a professional appearance.
Must possess an ability to work with minimal supervision and make educated ethical decisions as necessary.
Must be able to resolve conflicts and have effective communication skills with all levels of employees and be able to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.
