Position Summary

 

Manage and co-ordinate over two dozen Risk projects from inception through deployment: including program roadmap creation and management, resource and capacity planning, co-ordination of Risk meetings and deliverables, managing timelines and change requests, and providing status to stakeholders.  Specifically, this role manages all of the responsibilities of the Pega Decision Engine Team across multiple projects.  Candidates for this role should have between 3 and 5 years of past Project Management experience with integrating multiple technical platforms, data, and analytics.

 

 

Summary of Essential Job Functions

 

  • Program coordination for multiple simultaneous development projects as well as supporting ongoing “Business As Usual” (BAU) projects on behalf of the Risk Team.

    • This role is inward facing and only manages the responsibilities of the Risk Team, candidate will not be responsibilities for the teams that integrate with the Risk Team

  • Core responsibilities include:

    • Program roadmap creation, maintenance, and progress tracking

    • Resource, capacity, and scope management

    • Meeting co-ordination, providing agendas, meeting minutes, and action items

    • Follow-up and tracking of action items

    • Escalation of project risks, providing action plans, and handling change requests

    • Weekly status updates to program stakeholders

  • Supports the SDLC process on behalf of the Risk Team for the following project phases: requirements gathering, design, build, test, and deploy.

  • Coordinate with audit and QA teams to ensure that work meets quality standards.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Position Requirements

Past experience project managing multiple simultaneous projects across advanced technical ecosystems is essential.  Experience in Financial Services and Risk Management or equivalent industry experience is preferred, but not essential. Must have well developed organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple and sometimes competing priorities.  Position requires excellent written and oral communication skills, and the flexibility, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, highly complex environment.  Applicant must be able to demonstrate strong analytical, conceptual, quantitative problem-solving skills and have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and MS Project).  Experience with Jira is preferred, but not essential.  Experience with Agile methodology is not essential.
