Job Summary:

 

The Partner Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting program development, advancing our website and social media presence, and leading successful sales campaigns as it relates to partner and field marketing. It requires digging into new processes, building working relationships, and have demonstrated the ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively. This role assists in building partner knowledge, communication and relationships through marketing activities like demand generation, campaign creation and project management and tactical cross-collaboration. It also works collaboratively in with marketing counterparts, Business Development and partner contacts to define needs, priorities and plans.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop compelling marketing plans for key strategic partners. Support the partner go-to-market plan, including: solution alignment, awareness, sales enablement and partner plans; supporting materials/content along with specific measures of success.
  • Drive FLEETCOR’s Nvoicepay partner narrative, ensuring it speaks to the specific value proposition of our innovative technology and the needs of customers within the partner channel.
  • Guide creation of materials for market education, sales acceleration and thought leadership. Work closely with writers, marketing managers, brand strategists and business development to ensure that materials are relevant and advance our conversation with the market. Create high-quality, efficient, error-free production of design layouts and graphics in a variety of formats.
  • Provide direction and/or drive the creation of partner- and function specific content including web content, joint collateral, enablement guides, customer presentations, win wires, blogs, and partner videos.
  • Support social media strategy through value-added partner content creation and by leveraging key partner contacts and influencers.
  • Adhere to branding guidelines and take creative direction from Director of Marketing and other contributors while implementing effective creative marketing assets across several channels.
  • Collaborate with Director of Marketing and other team members to enhance the graphic and informative experience of our designs based on target audience.
  • Complete special design projects upon request (sales pitches, presentations, scope work).

Qualifications:

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, paying close attention to details and time-sensitive deadlines.
  • Understanding of marketing plan principles and ability to innovate to fill needs.
  • Degree in Marketing preferred (or equivalent degree with extended Marketing experience).
  • 5+ years’ experience technical product marketing.
  • Strong presentation, prioritization and relationship building skills.
  • Customer and personal service — knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service for partners. This includes needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of satisfaction.
  • English Language and Comprehension— Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents. Talking to others to convey information effectively.
  • Sales and Marketing — Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
  • Design — Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of graphics, layouts, plans and other aspects of projects. Analyzing needs and product requirements to create a design. The ability to come up with unusual or clever ideas about a given topic or situation, or to develop creative ways to solve a problem.
  • Communications and Media — Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods. This includes alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media.
  • Technology— Knowledge of computer hardware and software, including applications and design tools. Ability to learn Nvoicepay’s systems and software. Use of design applications, CRM software (Salesforce), software, and phone systems.
  • Active Listening and Speaking— Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. Talking to others to convey information and plans effectively.
  • Time and Task Management — managing one's own time and the time of others.
