Business Systems Analyst

Essential Job Functions:

  • Support critical business applications on a day-to-day basis

  • Work with Information Systems leadership on application maintenance plans and best practices

  • Analyze existing workflows and make recommendations for improvements

  • Maintain technical documentation by collecting, analyzing, and reporting on business applications

  • Facilitate, enhance, and ensure seamless operation of business applications

  • Assist in resolving back end connectivity issues

  • Ability to work in a collaborative and team environment

  • Write SQL queries in support of administrative support functions as needed

  • Ability to meet deadlines in a timely manner and work as part of a team on long term projects

  • Ability to pivot as necessary with changing business requirements

  • Stay up-to-date on modern trends as they pertain to software development, database maintenance, and application design


Experience/Knowledge Desired:

  • Experience maintaining and supporting Oracle 12c/18c

  • Experience maintaining and supporting Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2016/2019

  • Experience maintaining and supporting Hyland OnBase

  • Experience maintaining and supporting Deltek Costpoint

  • Working knowledge of standard financial, legal, and business operations processes

  • Working knowledge of modern Enterprise Content Management

  • Working knowledge of general Enterprise Resource Planning concepts

  • Experience with financial operations, payroll, timekeeping, human resources, legal, contracts, facilities operations, and government procurement guidelines

Education Desired:

  • High School Diploma/GED with 8+ years of related experience OR

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with 5+ years of related experience

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (e.g. driver’s license, special tools or restrictions):

Responsibilities sometimes require working evenings and weekends, and in some cases with little to no advance notice. This position requires that the applicant selected be a U.S. citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
