Summary/Purpose

The IT Business Relationship Manager (BRM) will be responsible for managing the engagement between the Jadex IT Department and Artazn business functions to deliver enhancements that align with strategic company objectives, and to drive value and decision-making capabilities across Artazn.

The BRM will be responsible for cultivating strong relationships, understanding the business value of new IT project requests, advising business partners on technical implications and solution options, and supporting senior members of the team in achieving desired results through the delivery of technology solutions.  


Essential Duties and Accountabilities:

  • Building strong relationships; excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills (10%)
  • Improving existing processes, technology configurations/solutions, and acting as a champion for change for the business (70%)
  • Eliciting and grooming well-defined problem/opportunity statements and business value (5%)
  • Prepare budget recommendations for the information technology operating and capital budgets. (5%)?
  • Work diligently to seek powerful future technology solutions to provide ideas, guidance, and options for business teams to consider that aligns with Artazn’s future strategy (5%)
  • Other duties/responsibilities as assigned including some ITGC/SOX compliance (5%)

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • BA/BS in a technical discipline or business (information systems, engineering, computer science, finance, accounting) and/or related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience analyzing and solving complex business problems
  • Understanding of IT portfolio management and evaluating project criteria on ROI, strategic alignment, cost savings and suitability
  • 10 plus years related industry experience
  • 3-5 plus years’ experience in Epicor ERP systems across at least two functional modules (SCM, Mfg., Accounting, Procurement, etc.)  
  • Knowledge of Epicor BAQ, BPM & SSRS report writing required
  • minimum of 3 years’ experience with MS SQL
  • Experience with .Net VB.Net & C# preferred, but not required
  • Experience & Knowledge with Business Intelligence development and presentation using Power BI
  • Experience with networking, hardware, vendor mgmt. and cybersecurity
  • Direct staff supervision experience required
  • Strong understanding of related business/functional processes and procedures
  • Knowledge of ITGC (Information Technology General Controls) and SOX compliance
  • Manufacturing experience required

   Work is mostly performed in a normal office setting with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards, and with substantial time spent working on a computer. Requires sufficient hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate computer keyboard and other office equipment.

   The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to manufacturing areas which require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection.

   Travel by automobile and plane required approximately 10-20% of time. Employee may perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
