St. Paul’s Senior Services is excited to announce an amazing opportunity to be part of San Diego’s St. Paul's PACE program (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly). This innovative program is for individuals 55 years or older, who are living with chronic illness, or disabilities and need coordinated medical care to continue living as independently as possible in their home and community. The healthcare teams at St. Paul’s PACE provide a hands-on approach coordinating medical, social, and home care services so individuals no longer need to manage their medical care alone.

Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Enrollment Supervisor, obtains initial screening information relating to admissions, assists Enrollment Specialists in facilitating intake process.  Assists in processing and communicating LOC status to appropriate team members.


Qualifications & Requirements:


          Education:   A Bachelor's Degree in business, or a health or human services field, or a high school diploma and office assistant training (preferably health care specific).


          Experience:  Two years of experience in a marketing and/or admissions role for a health care provider, or in an information and referral resource role within the senior network of San Diego. Shall have either training or related experience in the job assigned.

 Physical Requirements 

Shall be in good mental and physical health, and capable of performing assigned tasks. Requires full range of body motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing, walking, pushing, bending, kneeling and reaching at arm’s length and overhead in office setting and in community periodically. Requires the ability to lift/carry up to 30 pounds using appropriate body mechanics.


 Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Shall attend in-service education program, including orientation, skill training and continuing education.
  • Shall pass the California State Department of Health Care Services OLTC division marketing exam for marketing of the PACE program.
