Director - Claims Reporting & Analytics
Our claims analytics team is seeking a Director of Data& Analytics to join our growing team in our Worcester, MA offices.
The Director of Data & Analytics will focus on solution design and implementation support for our advanced analytics projects . Responsibilities include identifying and communicating potential areas of opportunity to leverage advanced analytics tools and AI and building out new analytic capabilities in order to support/influence our claims strategy and long-term roadmap.
This is a full-time, exempt role.
Diagnose and understand issues through the analysis of company and industry experience and recommend action.
Collaborate with business partners to identify and solve business problems.
Lead meetings and provide consulting with internal and external customers to discuss solution design.
Perform liaison function between Claims and a variety of business partners, external resources and technology, to influence strategy and long-term roadmaps.
Oversees the preparation of necessary systems specifications.
Responsible for communicating results/issues to upper level management.
Provides coaching to team on standard practices and development of problem-solving techniques.
Develops a broad base of industry & technology knowledge as well as current economic and business trends.
Acts as a change agent and effectively focuses the resources during times of transition and change.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field. Master's Degree preferred.
8+ years of experience in analytics roles.
Strong people management skills; effective at coaching and motivating staff.
Possesses a detailed understanding of analytics concepts/methods and the ability to research and employ new techniques depending on project requirements.
Excellent communication skills in written and presentation form.
Advanced skills using Microsoft Office; specifically, Excel.
Intermediate level programming skills, including the ability to develop and automate processes.
