The Operations Associate III, for Directed Trustee Services (DTS) processes client requests accurately, efficiently and in accordance with documented processes and procedures. Provides exceptional service to all clients and works with minimal supervision. Processes and reviews complex tasks and transactions; processes and reviews high volumes of standard tasks and transactions.

                                                          

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Reviews client forms for accuracy and completion

• Researches client accounts

• Corresponds with clients, including escalations, for clarification on correction requests

• Requests additional documentation as needed

• Processes valuation updates on client accounts

• Assists in opening accounts for clients

• Maintains client account information

• Processes transactions efficiently and manages time to meet or exceed team productivity target

• Assists colleagues across the organization to resolve client inquiries

• Prepares and mails out documents timely and accurately

• Coordinates the transfer of accounts with successor custodians

• Ensures accuracy of information through data verification affording timely processing of transfer requests

• Collaborates with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure satisfaction, accuracy, and compliance

• Follows-up with clients when scheduled to ensure an exceptional client experience


OTHER FUNCTIONS:

• Assists Team Lead and Supervisor with training, issue resolution and researching complex situations

• Opens and reviews incoming and returned mail

• Provides solutions to clients regarding transfer processes and statuses

• Assesses annual maintenance and account setup fees on client accounts

• Assists other teams and departments as needed

• Performs other duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the retirement and/or financial industries


PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:

• None required


TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Intermediate 10 key skills a plus

• Ability to type at least 45+ WPM preferred
