The Quality Assurance Specialist assists with maintaining data integrity, performing proactive proofing, and reviewing tax corrections. Performs call audits, Operations team audits and reports feedback to management. Processes and reviews high volumes of standard tasks and transactions. Collaborates with other QA Specialists, Operations associates, and all levels of Operations management. Exhibits and embraces Equity Trust Company (ETC) Core Values.



• Performs routine proofing

• Maintains data integrity by monitoring Operations activities

• Completes audits for Operations teams and call centers in accordance with company policies & procedures

• Reviews calls/operations processes and uses applicable systems to score the call/activity and ensures adherence to procedures

• Identifies nonconformities and evaluates adherence to policy/procedure, data accuracy, and completeness

• Documents evaluations in a timely and consistent manner

• Reviews tax data

• Reconciles data/reports

• Provides audit feedback to Operations managers

• Communicates with Operations teams with requests for additional documentation

• Assists colleagues across the organization to resolve audit/data requests

• Assists in identifying training needs and/or coaching opportunities for Operational associates


• Develops and maintains job procedures

• Assists with SOC and other outside audits

• Performs other duties as assigned


Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 1 year of experience in the retirement and/ or financial industry

• 1 year of process experience in Express and Innotrust

• Experience with IRS guidelines preferred


• None required


• Basic Excel and Microsoft Office applications

• Ability to type at least 45+ WPM
