The Regional Account Manager reports to the Regional Vice President, Trade Development and is expected to execute TWG Trade Development strategy for the entire TWG Portfolio in all major Regional Chains in the Southeast. They will work with TWG Field Sales Organization to maximize program execution efforts with our wholesalers across the Southeast.
Build relationships with regional chain buyers and all key decisionmakers in each account. Build quality relationships with Director/VP of Chains at wholesaler as well as the KAM and Execution teams
Understand TWG new item initiatives and how to prioritize them for each customer based on their individual go to market strategy
Execute TWG pricing strategy with knowledge of individual chain requirements and nuances. Includes managing Post Offs, Multi-Lane pricing, Warehouse Pricing, QD’s, Split Case charges etc. Need to work closely with TWG Field Sales Team in order to manage properly
Conduct monthly program presentations against TWG priorities & chain specific opportunities; maximize TWG share of merchandising activity
Secure weekly circular & specialty ads
Create and sell high impact Trade Marketing programs
Act as conduit to Field Sales to maximize program execution through all key phases: Planning-Communication-Execution-Evaluation
Responsibility for TWG Category Management in these accounts through individual efforts and coordination with the wholesaler. Optimize shelf and cold Box placements
Plan, forecast, and sell programming (planners, ads, trade marketing partnership promotions, etc.) and new item placements of TWG Priority Brands which support TWG’s desire to grow total wine category, and +$8 category, share of the overall retail chain’s wine business.
Handle administration as required by each chain and TWG
5 Years Field sales experience with a Supplier or Distributor
Regional Head Quarter call experience
Knowledge of Nielsen, Excel, Power point, Word
Strong analytical thinking
Must have a proactive spirit and possess strong initiative
Must be well organized with an ability to work independently as well as in a team environment and be flexible to changes in the wine industry
Willing to travel and with overnight stays as needed
Ability to work and succeed in dynamic entrepreneurial environment
Support and model all Company procedures and policies
