Under general direction and working in an agile environment, the ServiceNow Developer, formulates and defines the system, scope and objectives for the ServiceNow platform across all applications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Identifies, analyzes, and documents business and technical requirements and system specification specific to ServiceNow with a focus on ServicePortal, Software Asset Management, and Knowledge Base modules.
•Oversees the successful coordination and closure of all technical tasks related to configuration and implementation fot the ServiceNow platform.
•Implements and deploys update sets and custom applications.
•Ensures the efficient development and delivery of ServiceNow process solutions including management of tasks within schedule and budgetary constraints, coordination of development and implementation efforts across disciplines, and expansion of knowledge applicable to ServiceNow.
•Provides software coding and customization including form customization, workflow administration, report setup, data imports, integration, scripting, third party software integrations, and custom application development.
•Facilitates ServiceNow instance upgrades, utilizing Automated Testing Framework as needed.
•Supports other groups and their technical and application configuration questions.
Education, License or Certification:
•Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience
•ITIL v3 Certification
•ServiceNow Administration Certification required.
•ServiceNow Developer Certification a plus.
•3+ years of experience with ServiceNow development and architecture.
•Strong understanding of Software Asset Management (SAM) and experience with ServiceNow ServicePortal platform and Flow Designer.
•Automated Test Framework experience desired.
•Analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Experience with custom application creation experience.
