The Senior Leader, Accreditation and Quality Regulatory Compliance
directs the strategic management and planning of the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) Health Plan Accreditation process. Strategizes and leads organizational efforts to achieve and maintain accreditations. Develops and prepares accreditation work plans, timelines and documentation. Serves as the subject matter expert and liaison for standards interpretation, survey preparation, onsite reviews, and follow-up activities. Assists business leaders in training and education and evaluating/ developing compliant policies and procedures and on-going monitoring for compliance as established by NCQA for all accreditations. Coordinates the efforts to earn outstanding clinical performance and a positive customer experience as required for accreditation. Provides oversight and direction to assure compliance with Quality activities associated with regulatory agencies such as NYS Health Department, Federal Government and other relevant monitoring bodies, including activities and oversight related to the Quality behavioral health subcommittees, and including Performance Improvement Projects and Quality Improvement Strategy projects. Assumes ownership of the Quality Program Description and Annual reports, including timely submission to MVP’s Quality Improvement Committee and the Board of Directors. Provides input to the Quality department’s plans for continuous quality improvement activities and strategic direction. Performs other duties as assigned. 


Minimum Education

Bachelor’s Degree in a clinical or public health-oriented field required. Master’s Degree preferred. 

RN or other clinical professional affiliation preferred.  

Minimum Experience

5 years related work experience 
Operational experience with NCQA Accreditation standards and survey process is required
Minimum of 3 years of supervisory/management experience is required
Health plan experience highly preferred
Project management experience preferred
