We are seeking an experienced Director of Information Technology (IT) to join our dynamic team. The Director of IT will be a key partner to the executive leadership team, driving innovation and efficiency through the strategic application of technology. This role requires a blend of leadership, technical expertise, and business acumen to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of our IT systems.

In addition to providing expert IT guidance, the Director of IT will lead a team of IT professionals, manage key vendor relationships, and oversee day-to-day operations to minimize system downtime. They'll also evaluate our IT strategies and make recommendations for improvements.

Starting salary of $95,000/year (or more based on experience)!

Job Duties:

  • Collaborate with the executive leadership team and take a leadership role in executing the technology strategies to ensure technology needs are met for all our customers including internal team members, client-owners, investors, and residents. 
  • Develop and/or refine processes to provide a premier technology experience for our team member customers.
  • Manage the telecommunications system to ensure calls are routed appropriately, recorded as expected and downtime is minimal within the system functionality. 
  • Review and renew all licensing and warranties on in-use and up to date hardware.
  • Ensure that negotiated fee arrangements are received and accurately allocated to the benefiting property per the agreement
  • Prepare, recommend, and monitor approved technology budget as it relates to hardware, software, and vendors.
  • Develop, implement and monitor a cost-effective hardware replacement and responsible disposal program.
  • Lead the IT teams, internal and external, to ensure premier delivery of IT services and support.
  • Stay informed about new and changing technologies and industry trends to make recommendations on adoption and integration into our IT environment and business operations.
  • Oversee project management of new/current systems.
  • Maintain communication with vendors to manage and work with each one. 

Experience, Education, and Licensure:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field required.
  • Minimum of five years of IT leadership experience with demonstrated success in managing IT departments and team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite including SharePoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel is required.
  • Proven experience in vendor management, including managing and directing relationships with external IT service providers or managed IT vendors.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills to make sound and cost-effective business decisions.
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and telecommunications.
  • Experience with IT security practices and protocols, including cybersecurity best practices.
  • A motivated, well-organized, and self-directed individual who is also able to motivate and guide others.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to relate and address issues with a diverse group of people.
